Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory

A free glass-floor sea observatory on the Cheongsapo coast, now expanded into a 191-meter U-shaped deck. It is an easy stop between Cheongsapo and Songjeong on the Green Railway/Beach Train corridor rather than a separate cross-city destination.

Why it matters now

The observatory was expanded from the original 72.5 meters to 191 meters and reopened in its larger U-shaped form in 2024. Older photos and guides can therefore understate its current scale. Current visitor guidance lists free entry, 09:00–18:00 opening outside June–August, and weather or maintenance closures.

Why go

Use it as a short coastal stop for open-sea views, glass-floor sections and the contrast between Cheongsapo fishing-village scenery and Haeundae's skyline. The Beach Train has a Daritdol stop, so it is especially easy to combine with Cheongsapo or Songjeong.
