Busan Marine Natural History Museum
A free natural-history museum beside Geumgang Park in Oncheon-dong, with marine specimens, fossils, ecology displays and family-oriented interpretation. It is a useful indoor anchor for the Dongnae–Oncheonjang route, especially when weather makes mountain walking less attractive.

JeongAhn / Wikimedia CommonsSources & further readingThe museum currently runs 09:00–18:00 with last admission at 17:00, is free, and does not require advance admission booking. The special exhibition 'Ecology through Masterpieces' runs through March 14, 2027. Recent web guides still circulate incorrect addresses, hours and paid-admission claims, so the official museum page should be treated as the source of truth.
Why go
Pair it with Geumgang Park rather than treating it as a distant standalone museum. The museum sits inside the same Oncheon-dong destination cluster, so families can combine an indoor visit with the park, botanical garden or ropeway while keeping the day flexible.
