Bangdong Yoonseul Street

A lakeside walking and viewing area around Bangdong Reservoir in Yuseong-gu, with a waterfront deck, rest areas and a seasonal musical fountain. The fountain schedule is separate from general access to the waterfront and can change, so check the official district notice before making a timed visit.

Why it matters now

Yuseong District currently lists the 2026 musical-fountain season through October 31. For the coming weekend, the official schedule lists four sessions on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but the district explicitly warns that the timetable may change.

Why go

A practical outdoor stop for a Daejeon evening or weekend plan: pair a reservoir-side walk with one of the scheduled fountain shows. Friday through Sunday and public holidays have the most listed showtimes during the 2026 season.

Getting thereThis is an outlying waterfront area not directly adjacent to a subway station. Konyang University's official campus transport guide lists bus 202 connecting Daejeon Station Plaza → Seodaejeon Station → Doma Market → Konyang University Hospital 4 → Bangdong Reservoir → Wangdaeri, plus routes 41, 42, 43, 45 and 47 via Bangdong Reservoir. This is supporting evidence that the buses pass Bangdong Reservoir; recheck current headways, stop locations and the final walking route to the Yoonseul Street viewing plaza on the Daejeon city-bus map just before departure.Find directions on NAVER Map ↗Around 155 Bang-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon (in front of Bangdong Yoonseul Street viewing plaza)
