Asia Culture Center
A vast central-Gwangju arts and culture complex with contemporary exhibitions, performance venues, archives and library spaces, children’s programming and landscaped outdoor areas.
The 2026 Asia Culture Week starts today, 8 October, at ACC Asia Culture Plaza and runs through 11 October. Art and food markets, activities and performances are scheduled 11:00–20:00 on 8–10 October and 11:00–18:00 on the 11th; performance times vary and some activities are paid. ACC describes the event as free, all-ages and generally drop-in, but registration for the reserved dining program A Table of Asia is closed. The Children’s Culture Center infant playground is temporarily closed from 6 October through sometime in December; dates may change. ACC says its other facilities remain open normally. Separately, “Impressionists: Brilliant Moments” runs 23 September 2026–21 February 2027 in Culture Creation Complex Exhibition Halls 6–7. Admission is KRW 13,000 for adults and KRW 10,000 for youth/children; hours are 10:00–18:00 Tue/Thu/Fri/Sun and 10:00–20:00 Wed/Sat. Ticketing and entry end one hour before closing.
