Busan 40-Step Culture and Tourism Street
A roughly 450-metre outdoor heritage walk in Jungang-dong remembering Busan's Korean War refugee years through the historic 40 Steps and period-themed sculptures. The nearby 40 Steps Culture Center is a separate indoor facility.

The Oct 9–10 Gwangbok Record Fair took place at the nearby museum annex, not on the steps; the Oct 15–18 Jagalchi Festival is centered around Jagalchi Market and Yurari Square. Visitor posts help describe the sculptures but cannot confirm the indoor Culture Center's current closures or exhibitions.
Why go
About five minutes on foot from Jungang Station (Line 1). See the commemorative stone, accordion-player sculpture, and street artworks; allow a suggested 20–40 minutes outdoors. Add the Busan Modern and Contemporary History Museum (main building 112 Daecheong-ro, annex 104), then continue toward Gukje Market. The actual staircase and narrow alleys are not a continuous step-free wheelchair or stroller route.
