Yeonje Heritage & Forest Walk: Yeonsan Tombs and Baesan

An alternative to Busan's coastal itinerary: see 18 ancient burial mounds near Yeonsan Station (Lines 1 and 3), then choose whether to continue up the wooded Baesan slopes. A separate approach starts at Baesan Station (Line 3). These are different trailheads.

Yeonje Heritage & Forest Walk: Yeonsan Tombs and Baesan

Short heritage walk: Yeonsan Station Exit 10 → about seven minutes toward Yeonsan Tunnel (district estimate) → marked tomb trail. Forest-oriented walk: Baesan Station Exit 6 → roughly 20 minutes to the trail approach (Visit Busan estimate). The woodland, ruins and summit are hilly; allow extra time for steps and dirt paths. Do not advertise a single flat, wheelchair-accessible route.

New & interesting

The April 3–5, 2026 Gobun Fantasy Festival and April 4–5 guided tours are over, not ongoing. Yeonje District reports archaeological finds at the fortress site through 2024. Verify current excavation fences and trail notices; any media needs its own reuse permission.
