Inland Gijang: Cheolma's Ahopsan Forest and Jeonggwan Heritage

Gijang is more than a coastal destination. Ahopsan Forest in Cheolma offers paid walks among bamboo and old pines, while Jeonggwan Museum presents the area's archaeology and community life with free admission. They are separate inland destinations, not a continuous walking route or a short stroll from Songjeong and Osiria.

What it feels like now

Inland Gijang: Cheolma's Ahopsan Forest and Jeonggwan Heritage

For Ahopsan Forest, check the infrequent Gijang 2-3 village bus from Nopo Station toward Midong Village, admission requirements and uneven forest paths. For Jeonggwan Museum, buses 105 and 106 stop at the museum; several other routes stop near the township office for an approximately five-minute walk. Leave time for transfers between these distinct destinations.
