Busan Dong-gu Modern History Walk: Sujeong, Jwacheon & Beomil

A lesser-visited inland heritage belt beyond Busan Station's Chinatown and Choryang Ibagu-gil: Munhwa Gonggam Sujeong, a preserved wooden house near Busanjin Station; Jwacheon Cave, linked with wartime shelter and refugees; and Busanjinseong Park near Beomil Station. These are separate urban stops, not a continuous level promenade.

What it feels like now

Busan Dong-gu Modern History Walk: Sujeong, Jwacheon & Beomil

For historic architecture, take Line 1 to Busanjin Station Exit 1 and walk roughly seven minutes to 75 Honggok-ro (some uphill residential lanes). For a small cave linked with wartime history, navigate to Gogwan-ro 185beon-gil and verify the actual Jwacheon Cave entrance. For a hilltop park, fortress context and markets, travel separately to Beomil Station and Busanjinseong Park/Busanjin Market. Do not promise a barrier-free through-route.
