2026 National Heritage Media Art — Yeosu Jinnamgwan

A nighttime heritage-media-art program running October 9–November 8, 2026, daily from 19:30 to 21:30 around Jinnamgwan, Gosodae, Yi Sun-sin Square and nearby heritage spaces in Yeosu. The latest official city notice describes projection mapping, immersive sound, interactive experiences, AI-based content, landscape lighting and light installations under the theme “Jinnamgwan, Rebuilt in Light.” It is closed every Tuesday and additionally on October 18–19. Ticketing, foreign-language interpretation, rain/wind contingencies and a continuous step-free route have not been independently confirmed.

Mokpo Harbor and the Samhakdo area

2026 Mokpo Port Festival

The festival runs October 16–18, 2026, from 12:00 to 21:00 each day around Mokpo Harbor and Samhakdo. A Pasi (traditional fish-market) reenactment is scheduled for 18:00 on October 16 and 17, with main-stage performances at 19:00 nightly. Official shuttles connect the Namhang temporary stop, Yudalsan Post Office, and the Pyeonghwa Square/Culture and Arts Center area; routes have different service hours and intervals. Times may change with traffic, and detailed parking information and the venue map are still being prepared, so check the official notice before setting out.

2026 Korea BamBam Festa Yeosu

A one-day night-tourism program on October 3, 2026, running 16:00-22:00 across Ungcheon Waterfront Park and the outdoor plaza at Jangdo in Yeosu. The official city notice describes a mixed program linking city and sea: an outdoor book lounge, Dongbaek Movie Night and play zone at Ungcheon, plus a candlelight concert at Jangdo. Exact walk-in rules, headphone arrangements for the silent-movie component, weather contingencies and step-free movement between all areas were not independently tested.
