30th Jeonju Hanji Culture Festival 2026

The 30th Jeonju Hanji Culture Festival (2026 Jeonju International Hanji Industry Fair) runs October 8–10 at the Korea Traditional Culture Center, hosted by Jeonju City and the Jeonju Cultural Foundation; general admission is free. Under the theme “Now, Hanji,” it combines hands-on activities, exhibits, the 32nd National Hanji Craft Competition and the 6th Children’s Hanji Art Contest. A Yonhap report citing material from the Jeonju Cultural Foundation says award-winning craft and children’s-art entries are displayed on the third floor throughout October, so that exhibition can be visited after the three-day festival. Some detailed cards on the festival website still show 2025 dates; verify session hours and reservations against current-year notices.

Imsil N Cheese Festival 2026

The 2026 Imsil N Cheese Festival runs October 8–11 across Imsil Cheese Theme Park, Imsil Cheese Village and Imsil town. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism lists daily festival hours as 09:00–20:00 and general admission as free; experiences may cost extra. Imsil County Tourism lists the opening ceremony for October 8 at 18:00 at the special stage in Imsil-eup (between Baekje Pharmacy and the registry-office intersection). Official programs include cheese-making, rice-pizza and fondue activities, a parade, performances and contests, a kids’ area and nighttime events. On October 8, the cheese-quality-preference tasting at the History and Culture Hall is scheduled for 13:00 and 15:00, with the first 50 people at each session (100 total). Imsil County says temporary Culture Nuri Card merchants will operate at 48 festival locations, including booths, local-produce sales and experiences inside the theme park. Check the county notice’s attached merchant list or on-site conditions to confirm participating vendors and eligible purchases. The official parking page lists eight planned lots totaling 3,400 spaces and advises drivers to divert to Imsil-eup and use the shuttle if festival-area lots are full. This is planned capacity, not guaranteed same-day availability.
