2026 Yeosu National Heritage Night Festival
A four-day nighttime heritage festival, October 8–11, 2026, from 18:00 to 23:00 around Jinnamgwan in Yeosu, including the former Dongheon Wanggyeongru site, Gosodae and the car-free Jinnam shopping street. General admission is free and no festival ticket is sold. The official site lists seven night-themed strands, 20-plus experiences, a 25-team flea market, food trucks, traditional performances and busking. Its schedule lists the original musical *Jinnamgwan: Those Who Defended the Nation* at 19:30 on Oct 8 and 20:30 on Oct 9–10. Guided side tours have limited places and separate fees; some hands-on activities are also paid. Address: Jinnamgwan, 11 Dongmun-ro, Yeosu. The organizer’s parking guidance is still marked ‘to be announced,’ so check same-day notices.

The festival opened on Oct 8 local time and runs through Oct 11. Its documented scale is four evenings, seven themes, 20-plus activities and a 25-team market; no official projected or cumulative attendance figure was found, so we do not label it a large event. We compared three distinct Naver posts (an event introduction on Sep 15, an October itinerary roundup on Oct 6, and a visitor guide posted Oct 8). All are advance guides, not first-hand reports of crowds or on-site atmosphere; the festival had only just opened. The Oct 8 guide mentions nearby public parking, but the official event page still says parking details are forthcoming, so parking is unresolved. It can suit an evening walk combining heritage and performances after daytime sightseeing, but verify paid tour/activity conditions and show times before leaving. Do not confuse it with the separate National Heritage Media Art at Jinnamgwan, scheduled Oct 9–Nov 8.
