2026 Fall Culture Festival with Neighbors at Suwon Gwanggyo Museum
A family-oriented outdoor cultural event for Hangul Day 2026 at Suwon Gwanggyo Museum and Gwanggyo History Park. The official schedule is October 9, 11:00–16:00; the Suwon event portal says it is free and open to everyone. Activities include hanbok, a King Sejong photo zone, traditional games (rope pulling, mask dance, weaving, stone-tossing, stilts, tuho and beonna), and an activity-sheet event linked to the 2026 exhibition on everyday life in Joseon through historical documents. It suits a short family visit, but no evidence supports a large stage show or large attendance.

Checked at 09:57 KST on October 9, 2026. Gyeonggi Province’s October 8 notice lists the 11:00–16:00 hours, hanbok experience, King Sejong photo zone and exhibition activity-sheet event; museum and city notices confirm outdoor activities tied to Hangul Day, traditional culture and the museum collection. The city event portal lists free admission, all citizens welcome and 132 parking spaces, while the museum access page lists 135; the official figures conflict and neither indicates spaces available today. The announced parking-entry restriction (Oct 8, 18:00–Oct 9, 09:00) had ended by the check time, but the museum warned of event-day congestion and recommends public transit. The city event portal says no road closure. Official directions list buses stopping at the museum and about a 15-minute walk from Exit 3 of Gwanggyo Jungang Station on the Shinbundang Line. Detailed activity times, per-activity fees/capacity, booking requirements, live parking availability, crowd levels and actual attendance were not confirmed. Scale is estimated as a small local event based on its five-hour, single-day outdoor family format, not an official count. Naver blog access was blocked by robots.txt, so three recent independent firsthand reviews could not be checked; current atmosphere and queues remain unknown.
