2026 Korea Drama Festival

A ten-day K-drama festival in Jinju from October 9–18, 2026, centered on the Gyeongnam Culture & Arts Center and the Namgang riverside festival zone. Current 2026 programs include the Korea Drama Awards, nightly KDF concerts, global and AI short-form drama projects, a KDF music festa, promotional and exhibition zones, and drama-script/set experiences. The Korea Drama Awards are scheduled for October 10 at 17:00, while the outdoor KDF concert series is announced for October 9–17 at 20:30.

Why it matters now

This is one of the few Korean drama events where visitors can experience the industry beyond filming locations: awards, OST/live music, exhibitions and new short-form production projects are presented in the same festival. Jinju's three major autumn festivals overlap during this period, so the city center and Namgang area will be unusually busy. Individual KDF programs use different times and admission conditions, so visitors should plan around the specific program rather than treat the full ten-day range as one continuous show.
