Jean-Michel Othoniel: In the Labyrinth of Love

Jean-Michel Othoniel's first Busan solo exhibition runs August 28-December 31, 2026 at F1963's Sukcheon Hall and Moonlight Garden. Busan Metropolitan City lists hours of 10:00-18:00, Tuesday-Sunday, with Monday closure. Tickets are listed at KRW 10,000 for adults (19+), KRW 8,000 for ages 13-18 and KRW 6,000 for ages 3-12. The city frames it as an official collaborative exhibition for World Design Capital Busan 2028 and as a meeting of contemporary art with F1963's reused industrial architecture. Live ticket availability, guided-language options and holiday exceptions were not tested.

Why it matters now

The exhibition is open now and runs through the end of 2026, giving F1963 a current anchor beyond its permanent architecture. It is also a useful example of Busan using a reused factory site to make its World Design Capital program visible before 2028.
