Hanbok Culture Week 2026 — Seoul Main Venues

Hanbok Culture Week runs October 19–25, 2026, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and KCDF. In Seoul, key sites include the National Museum of Korea's open plaza in Yongsan and the area near Gyeonghoeru at Gyeongbokgung Palace in Jongno. The event extends to hundreds of other locations nationwide and abroad. Fashion shows, performances, talks and cultural experiences have different venues, session times and admission arrangements. The seven-day calendar is NOT a daily opening-hours guarantee or proof that all museum and palace entry is free. The precise timetable, any advance registration, tickets, weather changes and foreign-language support need checking on the official schedule.

Why it matters now

For October 19–25, combine a Seoul museum or palace itinerary with selected hanbok programs rather than expecting all activities at one address. The Yongsan museum and Jongno palace are separate locations; verify exact session, entry and booking conditions ahead of travel.
