72nd Baekje Cultural Festival — Buyeo 2026

Buyeo’s 72nd Baekje Cultural Festival runs October 3-11, 2026 across downtown Buyeo, the Jeongnimsa Temple Site, Seoktap-ro and the Gwanbuk-ri archaeological site. The official opening ceremony is October 3 from 19:00-22:00 and the closing ceremony October 11 from 18:30-21:30. The 2026 program includes historical processions and performances, a themed exhibition centered on the Baekje gilt-bronze incense burner, craft and fortress/martial-arts experiences, night media-art routes and a citywide tourism layer. Individual programs keep their own hours; some outdoor experiences are weather-dependent. Live crowd conditions, foreign-language interpretation across all venues, ticket/reservation rules for every program and continuous step-free routes were not independently tested.

Why it matters now

The festival opens today and offers a concentrated way to experience Buyeo’s Sabi-Baekje history through archaeological sites, performances, participatory programs and night scenery. The current official English layer confirms the 2026 dates and core venues, although many detailed program pages are clearer in Korean.
