ACT Festival 2026 — I, Human

ACT Festival 2026 ‘I, Human’ runs October 23-November 8 at the Asia Culture Center in Gwangju. The free program combines exhibitions, performance, artist dialogue, media façade and XR works exploring human relationships with AI and robots. Main exhibition hours are 10:00-18:00 on Tue/Thu/Fri/Sun and 10:00-20:00 on Wed/Sat, closed Mondays; individual programs vary. General exhibition viewing is free, while the October 23 performance, October 24 dialogue and XR works BLUR and TRACES use Naver Form reservations. Foreign-user booking, language support, photography rules and late-evening transport remain unverified.

Why it matters now

The festival gives Gwangju a current technology-and-art story beyond a generic exhibition listing, with AI, robots and XR presented alongside Nam June Paik’s Robot K-456 and public discussion.
